What's Mine is Yours- Hartman
Hey folks. I've been going through Trickery Treats by J.K. Hartman again. I've rediscovered an old gem. It is a quick, magical item called What's Mine is Yours. It can stand alone as a chosen card discovery but I love it as an interlude between effects. Harry Lorayne's 'Your Favourite Card' has alwa...

Frank Thompson's E-Z Cut Aces- Jennings
Hey guys- just thought I'd share again. This time it's Larry Jennings' handling of Frank Thompson's Ace Cutting sequence known to most knowledgeable cardmen. I really like LJ's treatment here and it can be found in what might be my favourite card book of all time- Mr. Jennings Takes it Easy by Kaufm...

Re: WTB: Carney Uncovered
Thanks guys. Quite a difference in price there. AJM do you have a copy for sale? I believe this is indeed the internet. Thanks so much. I thought this would go without saying, but I was wondering if any of my fellow Genii Forum members had one for sale. Not that I don't appreciate the links. Thanks ...

Thanks Frank. I did see that. Seems to be the one and only copy available online. It would be nice to find at least one other seller to compare condition, shipping etc.
But thank-you.

I'll congratulate you as well. Very nice little flourish. Right up my alley.

I've worked on a smooth, dealers grip Elmsley Count for decades. I'm still looking for Vol. 2 of his Collected Works.

Or a Brazilian telling someone from Portugal they're speaking Portuguese Portuguese? Look up "Portuguese Portuguese" in the Merriam-Webster dictionary. It doesn't exist. Yet "British English" does. Again, language is not a strictly consistent system of logical imposed rules. Sor...

True. I'm glad to see Cornish making a comeback. I guess if I go to Spain I'll hear people speaking Spanish Spanish. Lol. Perhaps I'm using the Gogle ngram incorrectly, but when I put in "more bosh than" (without quote marks) for 1880-1920, with American English I get no results, but with British English, at least some results, albeit very low. I don’t want to derail after a couple hundred pages, but, there ...

Miser's Cornucopia vs. Fair Exchange
Gents, Miser's Cornucopia from Roger Klause in Concert is a long time favourite. I've just discovered an identical effect in a Fank Garcia book called Fair Exchange credited to Neil See. The effect and method are identical, except for the application of Klause's half-move concept. Anyone know the pr...

Both effectively taught by Mr. Kaufman.
Both sure fire with enough practice, but I'm leaning towards the Jennings technique.

Shelley's Quadruple Coincidence
Hey guys, just thought I'd share this here. It's a delightful trick from Mr. Jennings Takes it Easy. I first met Mike Shelley in the dealers room at a Nycan convention in the 90's. He had stuff I'd never seen before and he impressed me as a demonstrator. I never forgot him, nor did I ever see him ag...

The Vernon Transfer Move is entirely different. The left hand moves away with a packet, leaving card(s) behind in the right hand which immediately drops and adds them to the tabled packet.

For an incredible, impossible seeming effect, see Lorayne"s Faro Blockbuster from Deck-Sterity. It is mind-blowing in my opinion. If you know the method, you'll see why not many people do it I think. But it is very strong.
