Can any of you still see the vid? I can't, but it may be because I'm trying to view from Canada.

WTB - soft Ultimate Three Fly gimmick
Hello all, I'm looking to buy Ultimate Three Fly, specifically a 'soft' (slick, worn...) version. I'd be happy with just the gimmick, but would consider purchasing a full set. Get it out of your magic drawer and turn it into cash! Dan Trommater <!-- e --><a href="mailto:dan@trommater.com">dan@tromma...

FSH - Osterlind's Epitome Board
I have a Richard Osterlind 'Epitome Board' for sale here. It is a non-gimmicked version of mental epic for use on stage or palour. It includes a blackboard, three small pieces of plastic (to cover the predictions), clips to hold those plastic cards and the instructions. I honestly have no idea what ...

Big Hit! - Niagara Comedy Magic Seminar
I just attended the Niagara Comedy Magic Seminar and thought I'd report a little on the event. It was fantastic. It was so refreshing to be at a magic 'convention' that was not the standard fare. In addition to having an all-star lineup (Johnny and Pam Thomson, David Acer, Jay Sankey, Greg Frewin, e...

Sand Card Frame
Hello all,
I'm seeking a way to visibly vanish a bill and am considering the ' Sand Card Frame '. For those of you who've had experience with one, can you tell me if a bill could be openly placed inside, then vanished?
Thanks in advance!
Dan

Jonathan Levit does this in his Parlour show, and he actually DOES IT. No tricks, he just cold memorizes every page in a magazine. Incredible.

Prices lowered...
Flipper - $40
Shell Set - $100
They won't last long at that price. Would consider a combo price on both.

WTB - Schoolcraft or Lassen CSB
I'm looking to buy a Copper, Silver, Brass set. Ideally, I'd like Walking Liberty size, but a silver dollar set may be ok. A used set would be fine, as long as it's not too beat up.
Thanks!

Thanks James. Good ideas. Though, I'm not sure about using cards to represent our spectators in a 'lovie' way, then stapling them (unless it's an S&M themed presentation) :)

Bamboo Stick Thing?
Please forgive the sketchy details... I remember seeing someone (Norm Neilsen?) perform a beautiful routine with a bunch of sticks (maybe bamboo) held together with string. He formed different shapes with it, much like a troublewit. What is this thing called? Where can I learn more about it? Thanks!

All of these ideas are much appreciated. Great idea about the Kurtz routine. It's perfect for this occasion. I've also thought of maybe doing the McCombical Deck using both the bride and groom. It could be a test of how "in-tune" they are with each other. He'd hold the prediction card agai...

Standup Wedding Magic Ideas?
Hi all, I've been asked by some good friends to perform magic at their wedding. It's a standup situation for around 250 people, so as much as I love it, I'm not sure Anniversary Waltz would play. I'm not entirely familiar with the routine, but perhaps one could incorporate it into a longer presentation and have the folded card be one of a number of things clipped together. There would still need to be a presentational reason for them being clipped together, but at least it's a start. As the ...

Re: Dirty Coins
I believe that coin collectors will tell us that any abrasives (toothpaste, baking soda) are a bad idea. I used baking soda and water to make a paste that I rubbed on my silver dollars for years. Sure, it made them shine, but it irreversibly changes the surface of the coin. Go to a coin shop and loo...
