Interesting, Max. I do remember as a kid in the early 1980's going to both a B&BRB circus, as well as several Icecapade shows and seeing multiple actors (even on ice skates) with multiple legs. In fact, I distinctly remember one or more in police uniforms with the longer old school police jacket...

Re: Jonathan Pendragon arrested
Unbelievably sad, but then again, for me at least, not surprising. I admire them greatly, but the times I have met them, and then watching their latest DVD set (which I thought was EXTREMELY sad - almost like they were giving up), something has always seemed "off". Add to that the strange ...

Interesting concept. I think it's aesthetically pleasing and neat, but it doesn't seem very deceptive... I mean, whats the point? It has a really thick looking base, blades that don't penetrate it, two end boxes that doesn't move, and no convincer that any of the boxes actually contain a person... A...

I for one can't see the reason for the negative attitudes towards Wade's "stunt". From the clips that I saw of it (and I have not yet seen all 6 episodes) - hoax or not - the production values far exceed much of the so called "publicity stunts" and magic specials broadcast on nat...

And one more thing re: "We make no money from copies sold in shops because we are forced to sell them at 50% off retail because that's what MAGIC charges." From my observations spending some time behind Denny Haney's counter, Genii usually was bought by a very different demographic than MA...

Absolutely beautiful work on your version of Antonio Diavolo!
It is great to see. There are a couple of projects like that I wish to complete when I get my new house/shop and all is in order.
I'd love to talk with you about it.

Sounds like you referring to "Gadabout Coins"? I do it occasionally. I played with it as published in Bobo as well as the Ron Bauer series. The Ron Bauer version really takes out all the "tells" and has strong emphasis on unity which makes it a much stronger trick that it really ...

Denny Haney over at Denny and Lee had new Poor Charlie cards printed up last year he was selling with the Scotty York write-up, as well as a little instructional DVD.
Not sure if his cards were the same as the Dingle set or not, but they looked decent. I'd get in touch with him as well.

For some REAL WORK on the convincing control, I recomend "Fair and Sloppy" put out by E-Gads as part of the Ron Bauer Private Studies. It's pretty cheap, only ten bucks still I think, and the handling there is explained in depth and really takes care of the "tells". If I remember...

Re: LAs Vegas
Hey Nicholas, I was the Magic Consultant for the production here in LV. Tom, No worries friend. Your feelings were not alone.
