That appears to just one part of a John Carney routine. I know I have read an explanation for this somewhere but I can't seem to remember where at the moment. I'm thinking it was The Collected Almanac, but I'm not sure.

Re: Labyrinth is Coming!
I note that people in the US started to receive their copy of Labyrinth around August 18th. Can I assume the regular edition of Labyrinth was shipped to Canadian customers around the same date? I don't mind being patient, and will, but if the book was mailed out over 2 months ago to Canada how long...

This is my favorite part. "1)You need to learn at least a 20 minute impromptu card routine using any deck of cards. 2)Learn 10-15 minutes worth of impromptu magic with money. 3)Learn 15-20 minutes worth of impromptu magic with random stuff. 4)Spend some time learning mentalism." ONE really...

As I slowly work my way through the all three of the stewart james books, this is the one that really caught my eye. Is there any other examples of this type of stack, to which I find utterly fascinating. I have started work on my own "stack", which is up to three effects as of yesterday. ...

If you don't want to shell out 1000 bucks, check out Dean's routine called coin explosion. It can be found in the March 1994 Apocalypse Vol.17 No.3 on page 2331. It starts as a standard chink a chink routine with a backfire, finishing off with a 9 coin production. I should say that there are nine coi...

Re: Brainwave...would this work
Wouldn't the effect be weakend by repeating the exact same effect? My preferance would be just do the brainwave after some effects with a regular deck and switch decks somewhere during my set. Also it should be noted that Max Mavens effect is called B'Wave.
