I hope this is the right place for this question. Does anyone know which company actually manufactured the knives in Scotty York's Color Changing Knives set?
Thanks

Re: Dean Dill
I visited Dean's shop about 7 years ago, and I remember how kind, gracious and welcoming Dean (and David Regal) were to an unknown magician from Ft. Worth, Texas. I corresponded a few times with Dean as I worked though his coin magic videos, and he was always very patient and precise in his replies....

I have a question regarding the preparation of the "restored" part of the thread. Many of the the sources I've found recommend winding the "restored" portion of the thread around small wooden dowels or even one's fingers, forming a kind of figure "8', which is then removed f...

Only if you can pass that cost (taxes) on to someone else. Business do this in the cost of their goods and services. This is a matter or practice among the manufacturing firms I've worked for over the past 30 years or so; smaller businesses may find it difficult or impossible to do so because their ...

Re: O/T UK's 64% income tax on top theatre professionals
Of course, this only accounts for federal taxes. Add in state, county and city taxes (income tax, sales tax, property tax, etc.) and the percentage jumps up quite a bit. And, by and large, business does not pay taxes - that is added into the cost of their product, generally calculated as overhead co...

The Olympics are occasionally held in the USA but FISM is almost always (with 2 exceptions) held in Europe. It certainly qualifies as the European Olympics of Magic.

In Pete McCabe's Scripting Magic , there is a reference on page 396 to two manuscripts by Jam Ian Swiss: Theories II and Theories III . Re: Best card to wallet routine?
An important question and not easily answered. Another magician once commented, after seeing me perform, that I reminded him of a Will Rogers, after a fashion. I think that comparison is a good starting point (although I don't twirl a lariat or wear a western style hat or boots). But my style is cha...

Slydini's Elusive Four
I've just watched "As I Recall", the tribute to Slydini. One effect, called the Elusive Four, begins as a standard 4 coin matrix and ends in a rather spectacular fashion. However, this effect, unlike others on the DVD, is not explained. Is it published somewhere?
Thanks!

You have a mix of styles and fonts, which gives it a jumbled look (in my humble opinion). And the font for the magic tricks are almost unreadable. I would suggest that you select one style and one font, and eliminate the "Jackson Pollock" font.
Good luck!
