I'm assuming you changed something, since I can now see Edit and Quote buttons!

Do you need anything else from me on this, or are your techno-wizards examining it already?

No quote for me either, is that also supposed to be there? I just assumed it wasn't activated on this forum.

Re: NEW FORUM: Post your problems/issues here
What is interesting is that if I dig in the webpage source code I can see a link for composing a reply, it just seems that there is no click-able button for that link. If I manually edit the browser URL , pointing it to the link I would go to if there was a button to click then I can compose and sen...

Re: NEW FORUM: Post your problems/issues here
Here is what I see, the button is missing. I thought that maybe it was one of my Firefox extentions blocking it somehow, so I also tried in Chrome with the same result.

Re: NEW FORUM: Post your problems/issues here
There doesnt seem to be any way to Reply to a Private Message that has been received.
There is no button on the message screen, and if I try to reply using the Tapatalk app it allows me to type the reply, but errors when trying to send suggesting the user does not exist.

Ah, you've just given away the method!
Get a round mailing tube, put a full deck in it, run over it with a steamroller. You can now pull out any card from a flat envelope!

You can also email a PDF to your @kindle.com address with the word 'convert' in the subject line and Amazon will have a go at converting it for you. I've had mixed results... The only place I can comfortably read a PDF without conversion is on my main PC screen, and I sit at that for long enough any...

Re: Cutting to 26
My interest in the faro was piqued by John Bannons effect Dawn Patrol. For those unfamiliar it uses a perfect straddle faro of 26 cards into 27 to place a selection between two previously placed face up cards (and is really rather fantastic) The maths of faro shuffles make my brain melt, but it seem...

Good lord, I thought that was just me! If I cut them so they look the same size the right hand packet /always/ has more cards.

Back to answer my own question. Yes, in either version you can have people swap the same number of pieces with each other.

Re: Eric Jones impromptu moment August 2011 You Tube
The maths of this one does my head in.
Is it true that in either version, either with or without the "Take 0,1,2,3 cards, throw them away ( and then do the 7 card displacement) can you still have people exchange card pieces with each other ( as long as the trade is even?)

Re: Quick Sleight Question
Well, I received an email for that reply.... Things are looking up! The move as I know is is where you get 4 cards outjogged as selections, and during that you get a break above the lower 4 cards. These are the cards to be switched in. The 4 selections are angle jogged to the left slightly and the d...

Dead Reckoning by John Bannon doesn't require a faro, but Dawn Patrol does.

Quick Sleight Question
Evening Genii-ites,
Please forgive this quick card sleight question.
What's the difference between the Derek Dingle no-lap switch and Vernons substitute transfer?
I have a few tricks that teach each move, but they both seem the same to me.
