Re: LF: Skinner's Professional Close Up DVDs

You need to get these DVDs if you don't have them: The Legendary Repertoire of Michael Skinner. It's a three volume set of Skinner in home performances. The closest you'll get to seeing Skinner in his prime along with the Johnny Carson videos on YouTube. Not tutorial videos but you can learn a lot b...

Re: Looking for al Stranger miracle poker machine

Jack--as I understand it a poker hand of 5 cards is inputed into the device. A hole card is designated by the spectator and the device somehow knows the identity of that card. Is that right?

Roth's abilities went beyond coins. His work on the chop cup elevated it from the guessing game. He could do the cups and balls very well, and his three ball routine was superb. His general knowledge of magic and its history was impressive. He was among the next wave of magicians like Steve Freeman,...

Alfred is spot on. A standard Bike is my current deck these days and it works fine. I don't do table riffle shuffle work so I don't need a high performance deck. Bergeron's Ring on Stick was the best version I had ever seen. He used the Leipzig method for the middle second phase without the extra ring. It was all bluff and coupled with a beautiful sound effect to make the audience believe the ring slid down the stick. Amazing! Absolutely amazing! RIP Bev.

I remember Zimmerman releasing a CD of classic scores that were used by magicians in their shows. I believe he played the piano on it. I understand he's a lion on the piano when it comes to ragtime music.
