Got mine today, Jan 18th, Greenwood IN.
I always enjoy the Giobbi write-ups and the Hollingworth column is becoming a favorite as well. Good weekend reading for sure.

Re: white border cards
What about Tally-Ho cards? The Fan backs are a bit more detailed but there are also the circle backs. I wouldn't think they are too hard to find at most places or the web. I visit a local game store that sells them. While not my preference, and most not having white border as you specify, the Viper ...

Re: Coin Effects NOT Using Classic Palm
Thanks again to all. In no way did I mean to sound like the classic palm isn't worth learning. I've been trying to work on it for a long time. I don't mind putting in the time to learn such things, I do enjoy it. There were lots of good tips here and they are helping. I have noticed how I was trying...

Does anybody know if Marlo had an effect called Unexpected Prediction? If so, and without giving anything away, can somebody describe the basic effect or give me a reference (if in print)? Thanks.

Coin Effects NOT Using Classic Palm
To this day I'm still frustrated with my ability to classic palm a coin. I have tried to work on the particular sleight to build up the needed muscles and avoid having my hand look like lobster boy. Still it continues.... Anyway, what coin effects does everybody like that does not require use of a c...

Well I have been rightly corrected!! I did a quick scan on this book right off the shelf and by the topics apparently presented it seemed to cover lots of material that could be used to cheat. 6 Card Royal
I really like effects like Doug Edward's 6 Card Royal because of the multiple ooh ahh moments. However, as I've been reading more opinions on magic theory I am starting to look at this particular effect differently in that there are maybe too many things happening without good justification. A card ...

Ah ha! That is the one. I didn't think I could find it again. If I remember right the effect was sort of an ace assembly. Sadly, I too have this trick sitting in my case. I can't remember the last time I performed it, but it used to be one of my favorites.
