Tuesday mail has come but still no Genii in West Linn. Magic magazine arrived yesterday. I assume the Postman must still be reading the Genii.

Saturday mail was just delivered and still no Genii. Interesting. I live in West Linn, Oregon and probably live within 20 miles of George Olson. He received his copy on Tuesday.

Re: Bruce Cervon's Castle Notebooks Volume 1
The book arrived about an hour ago here in Oregon. In just glancing through it I've already found some clever items that I want to start working on. The Paul Fox card in wallet idea is great. I certainly don't regret buying this or the first volume.

Re: SAWA Magic Library Vol. 1
Any chance that Dr.Sawa's upcoming release of 4 DVDs of new coin material might just be the start of much more of his work being released? I'm sure he could easily fill many more 4 DVD sets. And it would sure be great to finally see some of the early stuff that he held back.

Re: June issue of Genii Should Start Arriving Soon
The June issue just arrived moments ago. The top of the bag was already ripped open 6 or more inches. The top of the magazine has a few wrinkled/worn spots. Besides the magazine the bag also contained the envelope but no brochure. I'm sure the contents of the magazine are just fine though.

Charles - Very nice. There are certainly some interesting effects by Japanese magicians. It would be nice to see more printed in English.
By the way, I notice you are posting from Taiwan. I graduated from TAS (quite a while ago). My sister and her family still live there.

Last night I took my folks to see Reeds's dinner show at the Voleur in Portland. It was my first time to see him perform also. What a fun evening it was for both my parents and me. It seems to me I saw him long ago on a different TV show performing the Tricky Bottles. I may be wrong but I think at the end of the effect he exposed the gaff for a cheap laugh. Also, I think that's where I first heard the line, "I'd rather have this bottle in front of me than a frontal lobota...
