I detected NO respect for magic or magicians in her clip. To me she has always been a very repulsive comedian relying on mostly crotch humor to get her laughs. That clip annoyed me. Then again, that's just my take. Roy McIlwee, Scarnton, Penna.

Claude Rix is the originator. Bill Wisch saw him perform this trick in NYC in July of 1971. In 1978 Wisch added the fitting name "Killer" and the use of an invisible die. Thank you, Roy McIlwee, Scranton, Penna.

Malcolm, Check out Richard Osterlind's "The Surrounded Slow-Motion Center Tear...And Other Techniques. My wife and I saw Richard do this effect many years ago and she still says that was the purest form of magic she had ever seen!!!(That's not saying much about me!!). Good luck, Roy McIlwee.

Richard, I have a copy of that video of Del Ray at the Tannens Jubilee and the performance was priceless. He was doing his act for the Tannen regulars and had them gasping at his dice routine. He used Dick Cavett as a spectator and many of the onlookers could be seen wiping the tears from their eyes...
