Re: Andre Kole and Company

In the early 80's the local Baptist Church in Phibsboro advertised the showing of a film about Andre Kole and the Spirits. The part I remember most was his presentation of The Spirit Cabinet, which, I believe was taught to him by Frances Willard. The latter part was Kole performing the cut and resto...

Marc Oberon's Bang On. You open the wallet and remove a black envelope. The wallet is seen to be empty. The envelope is opened and a single playing card falls out onto your hand.

Three thoughts:

Place the deck at the edge of the table with an inch protruding over the edge.
Place the deck on its cardbox.
Place the deck on a glass.

Why would having them professionally bound decrease their value? Some collectors like the periodicals "as issued" so sometimes binding them together can cause them to be not as desirable. This is not always the case but i like to edge on the side of caution. It does depend because I have ...

At the FFFF convention this year Howard Hamburg showed me a switch of four cards. It would appear to me that those who most like the Jerx' writings are those with an interest in the theory of performance but have little, if any, grasp of real world practical paid performance. Your misdirection/direction is correct when the audience mentally look back on what's happened and there ...

Chris Van Bern was a popular variety performer in the U.K and his (stage) version may be the best yet published. He did not use ...
