Tim, I have the instructions but I don't know if we are allowed to take a picture (I don't have a scanner to make a better file) and send it to you. Let's see what Richard can tell us about this. I looked for the trick at loftus.com (so you could try to contact them or buy another trick with instru...

With my bound volumes of Abra and The Gen, the staples have been removed and the magazines stitched into place.

Re: Storing Magic Periodicals

Why would having them professionally bound decrease their value? Some collectors like the periodicals "as issued" so sometimes binding them together can cause them to be not as desirable. This is not always the case but i like to edge on the side of caution. It does depend because I have ...

Re: The Jerx Year Three

At the FFFF convention this year Howard Hamburg showed me a switch of four cards. His misdirection - both mental and physical - is so strong that he repeated it six times and even though I knew what he was doing my eyes and my mind were taken in every time. I have many wonderful memories of that wee...

It would appear to me that those who most like the Jerx' writings are those with an interest in the theory of performance but have little, if any, grasp of real world practical paid performance. Your misdirection/direction is correct when the audience mentally look back on what's happened and there ...

Veering slightly to the general water to wine effect, George Blake published Chris Van Bern's handling in The Magigram Vol. 3, No. 6 and a follow up piece in Vol.4, No. 2. Chris Van Bern was a popular variety performer in the U.K and his (stage) version may be the best yet published. He did not use ...

Bob Little's "Dovino" act was stolen from an Italian magician. I think his last name was Zeppe or Zoppe. So Bob was a naughty boy! It was Zelpy . From Magicpedia: Zelpy (1936-2004) was the stage name of professor Dott. Giampaolo Zelli of surgery at the University of Rome An amateur magici...
