I've been a Raspyni fan for many years. At least since they where on Carson. Thanks for sharing.

Louie Larachie?

Okay here's a long shot: As a child I was inspired by a magician that visited my tiny elementary school in Tennessee. His name was Louie Larachie (sp?). He was childhood friends with country singer Loretta Lynn and performed at her Dude Ranch every summer. Does anyone have any information on Louie? ...

Re: Phenomenon Phenomenal

I enjoyed Brad's article as well. I too was approached to be on the show. I gave it about 7.5 seconds of thought before deciding to pass. I had already had a bad experience with another short-lived "reality show". I couldn't bear to watch an entire episode of Phenomemon but did watch some ...

Re: Egg Trick comments

To Matt and others, You are welcome. The Egg trick is a gem and truly looks like magic. The wait staff in my venue have worked with me for almost six years, watching two shows a night, six nights a week, and they still don't know how I do it. Best wishes, Tony Brent Orlando, Florida Outta Control Ma...

Re: Egg Trick comments

I failed to mention that I use a standard wine glass for the effect. I believe it's 12 ounces but not sure. I've used snifters and the large wine glasses, however I like the fact that with long stem on the glass the audience has a very clear view of the fake/egg. Plus, if you hold the stem by the ti...

Re: Egg Trick comments

Steve, I've been doing this trick for the past five years, two shows nightly, six nights a week. The following is my exact handling: -I have the fake in thumb palm position, crumpled in my hand. -Real egg is sitting in a tiny box behind table next to a white cloth the same color as the egg. -Show na...

Magic Dinner Theaters

Any idea how many magic dinner shows there are in the U.S.? I'm doing some research for a book. Any information would be appreciated.

Re: Mythbusters -- Bullet Catch

We gave Carl Skenes permission to do the bullet catch in our dinner theater in Orlando for the Ripley's Believe It Or Not TV show and at the last minute a producer pulled the plug when he found out it was REAL.
