Re: Mickey Silver's Coin Retention Vanish (Silver's Ultimate Vanish)
Hey guys: I did see this on Vinny Marini's web site (http://www.vinnymarini.com). There was no further explanation. UPDATE: We finished filming Mickey Silver in Vegas, went real well till the cops showed up...but that's an...

Re: Looking for other southwest Florida wizards
Will do, Mark. If I lived close to the Dock, I sell all my stove and fridge and turn my kitchen into a magic room :)
We usually stay at the 5th Avenue Beach Club.

Re: Looking for other southwest Florida wizards
Mark: my wife and I vacation in Naples every year. We love eating at the Dock. There was a samll magic shop in Fort Myers Beach, but on our last visit, they were closed each time we visited. Several times during our vacations, we've attended Magic on the Beach in Miami. I think they've changed the d...

Glenn: Hang in there buddy. Spent 7 days screaming while waiting to pass one. What helped me were strong drugs liberally prescribed by a compasionate doctor, heating pad and watching magic videos. No pun intended, but I started to learn the pass during my ordeal. I wish you the best.

David: also one of my favorite episodes. You got my vote. Would you consider posting other shows and episodes you've written. The credits roll too fast, and I can never read the names. Congrats and good luck.

Re: Williamson DVDs/Lectures
No Chris, you arent a bastard for thinking that. Most of us who own these are probably thinking the same thing. Of course, that's my evil side talking. I really wish all my magic friends can see Dave in action. I can't wait for the new dvd, and Hope to catch Dave on his east coast tour.

Re: MARCH GENII ON ITS WAY TO YOU!
Richard, The Ross Bertram article was not too long. If anything, I was left wanting more. In my brief time studying magic, this was my first exposure to him. His videos and books are now on my immediate list of things to order. Thanks for the magazine and the article, and please send thanks to David...

Re: How to perform for the Dare program
How about reinforcing the "Just Say No" theme by getting the spectators (kids I assume) to repeat the phrase from time to time. "Just Say No" would be a perfect time to vanish something. Perhaps while displaying a cigarette, shotglass or white crocheted ball (resembling an illega...

In the close-up section of this forum, under coin magic, someone mentions a trick called invisible hand from Paul Cummins "Up in Smoke". Perhaps this is what you are looking for.

Russian Wedding Rings
As I learn to work with linking rings and rings on rope (or string), I've seen a trick by Ben Harris called Slink. The description leads me to think it could be cool to incorporate into my learning of all things "rings". Here's the problem.....I don't know what Russian Wedding Rings are. I...
