Giant Tenyo collection found
Hi everyone. Life in NYC has changed pretty severely, and I've been cleaning closets that I haven't looked in for years. While doing so, I found 100+ brand-new, or virtually brand-new Tenyo items that date back to T-87. Most of the items are between T-180 and the present (1997 to 2020). If anyone is...

Quentin, I wonder if you are thinking of this marketed trick: Ceremony of the Immortals by Patrick Reymond, Jean Boucher & Gary Ouellet. If I recall, there was a cheat sheet provided for those who didn't know how to memorize a deck. Each time you revealed a card, you automatically knew the next ...

Re: See Steve Cohen's Chamber Magic NOW Before You Miss Your Chance
Thanks for your interest in my show. I have exactly 60 shows left at the Waldorf Astoria NY before they close for renovations. 47 of those 60 shows are sold-out, so if you have been meaning to see the show at the hotel where it became famous, this is truly your last chance. However, the show is movi...

Re: Chopping board to stab on?
Erdnasephile, when you stab the knife into the board for the final card, you must TURN the knife so that the blade direction is parallel to the wood grain. From my experience with this trick, the knife will fall down if you stab it perpendicular (or on the diagonal) to the wood grain. I use a basic ...

Yesterday I launched a one-day art exhibition as a tribute to Chan Canasta, the admired magician who left show business to follow his passion as a painter. Canasta died in 1999, and I recently became friends with his widow Renata. Over the last 5 months, we worked together to locate nearly 40 of Cha...

I've just added a new Chan Canasta painting to this Sunday's exhibition - one owned by Derren Brown. He couldn't send the painting in time but we have a fine reproduction that will be on display.
